Its on now " its showing " its True Blood Season 2. HBO are showing this the second season so far the stats are showing it to be incredibly popular too. Word has obviously got round about Season 1 how good that was so now its the turn of Season 2. Lets check out whats been going on so far in the early days shall we
As is what appears to be the norm the first part of Season 2 begins with a murder the body being found in the local detectives car. Interesting start There are a few hot steamy scenes too just to add a bit more oomph to the proceedings as if there was not enough already.
On first viewing of Season 1 I was gripped by the fact that it was unlike any other vampire type movie or serial I had seen before. The characters albeit different in their needs to humans are actually very much possessed by human emotions.
The vampires are given more of a human feel to them which is actually very appealing a nice break form past where the vampire would be hidden away from human eyes. Not anymore.
Getting back to the murder for now though. The victim has been found in the local detectives car with their heart ripped from their body. How gruesome is that Who ever is to have committed this act is far from sane
Sookie Stackhouse herself finds out about Jessica Hamby who is 17 year old vampire that Bill Compton has been forced to bring up
Sookies brother " Jason meanwhile has turned from being a womanizing blood drinking addict to a highly religious zea lot. Not everyone in Bon Temps is happy with this change Sookie for one much prefers the old Jason to the new one.
So far then we have witnessed a number of very strange goings on no doubt we are going to witness a lot more. Hopefully some of the following questions will be answered soon:
1. Who is this woman who goes by the name of MaryAnn why is she hanging around small town Bon Temps asking questions
2. Why is Sam Merlotte seemingly petrified of MaryAnn " some deep dark secret perhaps
3. Can Lafayette come out of his current situation as a prisoner of Eric Northman all in one piece
4. Will Eric Northman be able to win over Sookies romantic side or will Bill Compton win her back for good
5. Will Jason Stackhouse continue with his religious fervor or will he return to being his true womanizing blood drinking self
Ah so much to look forward to I suggest you make sure you book the television for Sunday nights from now on if you cant manage to do this or you dont get access to HBO then wait a bit " True Blood Season 2 will be out on DVD in the months to come. Do not worry though Ill keep you updated as soon as there is word of it I promise you that
